Lancer3D Standard Warranty Certificate
Introduction
This Lancer3D Standard Warranty Certificate ("Certificate") is provided at no additional cost with the purchase of any Lancer3D 3D printer ("Product"). It safeguards the Product against defects in materials and workmanship arising from normal use and operating conditions. This warranty is non-transferable except upon presentation of the original Certificate by the new owner, accompanied by proof of ownership transfer. Lancer3D reserves the right to authenticate ownership details.
Coverage
- Warranty Period: 12 months commencing from the Purchase Date indicated on the invoice.
- What is Covered: At Lancer3D's discretion, repair or replacement of components affected by manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship, excluding normal wear items and consumables. All inspections and maintenance services must be conducted at Lancer3D Headquarters ("HQ").
- Training Services: The initial training session on Product operation is complimentary and should be delivered at Lancer3D HQ or via online session. Subsequent training sessions are eligible for a 50% VIP discount when conducted at HQ or online. Requests for on-site training (at the customer's location) incur an additional fee for travel and logistics; however, the training fee itself qualifies for the 50% VIP discount.
- Discounts for Non-Covered Maintenance: Repairs attributable to misuse, unauthorized alterations, or replacement of consumables/wear items including but not limited to nozzles, hotend assemblies, build surfaces for FDM printers, FEP films, and protective screens for MSLA printers are subject to:
- Maintenance labor: 50% VIP discount.
- Replacement parts: 10% VIP discount.
Exclusions
This warranty excludes coverage for:
- Normal wear items and consumables, including but not limited to nozzles, hotend assemblies, build surfaces (FDM), FEP films, and protective screens (MSLA).
- Damage resulting from misuse, improper operation, or use by untrained personnel. All operators must complete a Lancer3D-approved training session; non-compliance voids coverage for associated failures.
- Disassembly, repair, or modification of the Product (or any component) without prior written authorization or technical guidance from Lancer3D support.
- Unauthorized interventions, including but not limited to exposure to moisture, ingress of foreign materials (e.g., water, oil, dust, or particulates), operation outside recommended environmental parameters (15–30°C ambient temperature; humidity below 80%), electrical fluctuations, or incompatible power sources.
- Failures due to accidents, negligence, excessive commercial utilization beyond specified print volume limits, or events beyond Lancer3D's control (e.g., natural disasters, geopolitical disruptions).
- Defects in software, firmware, or third-party peripherals, unless directly attributable to a manufacturing flaw in the factory-installed firmware.
- Aesthetic impairments or non-functional anomalies that do not impact operational performance.
Additionally, the following components are subject to limited warranty periods due to their nature as wear-prone parts:

- Resin Tank/Build Plate (for MSLA/resin printers): 6 months limited warranty.

- On-Site Services: Available upon request at the customer's sole expense, encompassing travel, setup, and supplementary training.
