eSUN Pla+ High rigidity, good gloss, and transparency; printing process is non-toxic and tasteless; no curling. Biomaterial extracted from corn grain, naturally degradable and pollution-free for the environment; high rigidity, good gloss, and transparency; printing process is non-toxic and tasteless;
contains additions not seen in standard PLA. The filament's strength is improved by these added additions (at least 2 times tougher than regular PLA). PLA has a stronger proclivity for snapping under pressure, whereas PLA+ has a proclivity for bending. It also results in a smoother finish. PLA+ also does a better job of dealing with bridging and overhangs, requiring less stringing and fewer supports.
Esun Pla+ is our most popular filament since it is so simple to use. You'll need to print at a little higher temperature than conventional PLA to get the best results. PLA+ is especially recommended for larger prints.
